Hello, I'm Gaylene.

I'm a silversmith on the move. My studio is wherever we set up camp — beside the ocean, on the banks of a river, deep in the Australian bush, or out in the red heart of the outback. I travel Australia with my partner Bob and our rescue dog Ebony, and together we make the magic happen. Bob sets up the studio, cuts off sprues, and even digs for gemstones alongside me — while Ebony keeps a watchful eye over proceedings.

Every piece I create is shaped by the landscapes, light, and stories we encounter along the way.

Handcrafted with heart, inspired by Australia.

Each piece of Gaylene's Jewellery is made by hand using 925 sterling silver — some with a whisper of recycled gold — and ethically sourced semi-precious stones. I use traditional silversmithing techniques and the ancient craft of sand casting to bring each design to life.

No two pieces are ever the same. Every pendant, ring, and pair of earrings is a one-of-a-kind creation with its own story to tell.

Why I do what I do.

I believe jewellery should mean something. When you wear a piece from Gaylene's Jewellery, you're carrying a little piece of Australia with you — a remote lake, a coastal headland, a stretch of spinifex country. Something real, something handmade, something made to be treasured for years to come.
