Caloundra Amethyst

A beautiful purple stone set in a 925 Sterling Silver claw setting on a hammered band.

Amethyst is a medatative and calming stone.  It promotes calm, balance and peace.  

I have named this Caloundra as I purchased this beautiful natural Amethyst purple gemstone from a gentleman at Caloundra.  He found the rough in outback  Cloncurry, Queensland.  

In the photo the ring is sitting on rough Amethyst that was found by a guy in Kununurra, Western Australia.  We drove out to his property for a visit.  I admired an amazing cut Amethyst that was sitting on a cabinet.  He then promptly gave me some rough.  We have met some lovely people on our travels.
