Standing on the shores of K'gari, (formerly Fraser Island) the world's largest sand island, I was overwhelmed by the raw beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site. The endless stretches of pristine white sand, crystal-clear freshwater lakes, and towering ancient rainforests growing directly from sand created a landscape unlike anywhere else on Earth. The way the morning light danced across the dunes and filtered through the island's unique ecosystem inspired me to capture this magical place in sterling silver.
